We currently have multiple OC-12 and OC-3 connections to the Internet through different Internet providers for redundancy. We utilize an ATM network which is based on a non-blocking switched based architecture, in the event of a network failure, the backbone trunks reroute around any troubled areas across the Internet. The re-routing occurs within milliseconds!
